Release Date:2026年8月31日

“Can you recommend a three-day, two-night itinerary in Guizhou?” “What local food should I try in Guiyang?” “Where should I take my parents?” On August 28, visitors to Guizhou Tourism Group’s booth at 2026 DATA Night interacted in real time with Huang Xiaoxi, Guizhou’s digital cultural-tourism IP, and received personalised travel recommendations.

Answering travellers’ questions is what Huang Xiaoxi is designed to do. Powered by Guizhou’s tourism industry large model and local tourism data, it brings together information on scenery, accommodation, dining and transport. It can understand visitor needs and turn them into practical, tailored recommendations.

As Guizhou’s specialist tourism operator and integrated tourism service provider, Guizhou Tourism Group is using digital intelligence to make the province’s tourism resources easier to discover and experience.

Huang Xiaoxi has evolved into a range of specialised AI agents, including scenic-area and hotel agents. From itinerary planning and real-time enquiries to smart visitor guidance, it creates personalised travel plans and helps visitors arrange each stage of their journey. It also supports scenic areas and hotels by providing digital operating solutions, connecting visitor needs directly with service providers, reducing communication costs and improving service responsiveness and operational efficiency.

To date, the Huang Xiaoxi AI agent has been launched on more than 10 mainstream digital platforms, including WeChat and Amap. It serves over 70 key tourist attractions across Guizhou and has been deployed in more than 1,700 hotels, supporting the digital upgrade of the province’s cultural-tourism sector.

Guizhou Tourism Group also presented two VR experiences—“Fly Over Guizhou” and “Fantasy Dinosaur Island Adventure”—allowing visitors to explore Guizhou’s landscapes and signature attractions through immersive virtual reality.

The booth’s specialty-products and cultural-creative area featured Five-Fortune Pastries, Guizhou Welcome Liquor and Colorful Guizhou Mini Liquor, alongside intangible cultural heritage-inspired items such as creative silver jewellery, tie-dye coasters and Five-Fortune cups. Visitors could see, touch and experience these products as expressions of Guizhou’s everyday culture and craftsmanship.

The Group also introduced its “I Have a Rice Field in Jiabang” rice-field adoption programme. Participants can adopt a designated rice field online and receive locally grown ecological rice and specialty rice wine after harvest. Visitors scanned QR codes and signed up on-site, looking forward to receiving the next season’s fresh rice.

From study tours for children and leisure travel for older visitors to red-tourism experiences for young travellers, Guizhou Tourism Group is developing diverse, tailored travel products around Guizhou’s local resources—ensuring that every visitor can discover a journey uniquely their own.
