Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks)
The pastoral scenery of the peaks takes on a singular charm in autumn. In Nahui Village, the rice paddies turn a brilliant gold, creating a serene, poetic dialogue with the jagged limestone silhouettes.
Jiabang Rice Terraces
A stunning interplay between golden waves of grain and the dark timber of the hillside Diaojiaolou (stilt-houses). Here, you can immerse yourself in a living agrarian scroll, joining the locals to catch fish in the paddies or harvest the ripened stalks.
Tuole Ginkgo Village
Known as the "Home of the World's Ancient Ginkgos". In late October, these thousand-year-old giants drape themselves in liquid gold, carpeting the village in fallen leaves to create a surreal, amber-hued fairy tale.
Zhaoxing Dong Village
One of the world's largest Dong settlements. Under the crisp October skies, the majestic Drum Towers and Wind-and-Rain Bridges stand in solemn contrast to the golden harvest frames lining the village paths.
Tangan Dong Village & Terraces
A quieter, more secluded sanctuary compared to Zhaoxing. Hike through the gilded terraces to feel the raw, untouched rhythm of traditional Dong life.

Dong Preserved Fish & Pork
The highest etiquette of Dong hospitality. This uniquely fermented delicacy, with its sharp, spicy-sour profile, is an essential chapter in the story of Guizhou's culinary heritage.
Chongyang Ciba (Sticky Rice Cakes)
Following the customs of the Double Ninth Festival, locals pound fresh glutinous rice into soft, sweet cakes. They are a chewy, fragrant symbol of reunion and a bountiful harvest.
Ditan (Stall-Style) Hotpot
As the air turns cool, nothing warms the spirit like a griddle hotpot stir-fried right at your table. The intense, earthy aroma of fermented black beans and chilies is the ultimate "Harvest Ritual".
Rice-Flower Fish in Sour Soup
In October, the fish raised in the paddies are at their plumpest. Simmered in a classic Miao Red Sour Soup, the meat carries a faint fragrance of rice—a true "Taste of the Autumn Harvest".
Feast your eyes upon the gilded majesty of the terraces, Listen with your heart to the jubilant songs of the villages; Let your palate surrender to the banquet of the harvest, And soak your soul in the crisp, golden light of October.
