Overview
Named after Cao Weicheng, Guizhou's first martial arts champion of the Qing Dynasty, this historic street carries the legacy of a distinguished family boasting “one champion, two top scholars, and three imperial scholars.” In the 42nd year of Emperor Kangxi's reign, Cao Weicheng's legendary achievement of “consecutive top honors in both imperial examinations” shines brightly in the annals of history. Along the 213-meter bluestone path, the Zhuangyuan Pavilion stands solemnly, while the Martial Champion Archway towers majestically. By day, cultural creativity and intangible heritage echo through the streets; by night, lanterns weave a celestial river, where ancient and modern splendors embrace in gentle harmony.
