Guiyang, March 30 – The 2026 Guizhou Cross-border Tourism Promotion Conference was held in Guiyang on March 30. Yang Kun, Deputy General Manager of Guizhou Tourism Group, announced at the conference that the group is willing to open up its resources and products to cooperate with global partners as joint partners in Guizhou.

The group will integrate airport reception, port clearance and on-site services to build an integrated service system covering product supply, tourist source introduction, on-site service delivery and commission settlement. With joint mechanisms including charter flights and policy subsidies, Guizhou Tourism Group will provide full-chain support for partners to jointly create new forms of cross-border cultural tourism.

As the only provincial-level state-owned conglomerate specializing in cultural and tourism in Guizhou, the group has built an asset portfolio integrating scenic spots, accommodation and residential tourism, covering the entire industrial chain of food, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment. Its resources include:

Premium scenic spots such as FAST Scenic Area, Basha Miao Village and Yunfeng Tunpu Ancient Fortress;

The Guizhou Hotel Alliance with 76 hotels and over 15,000 guest rooms;

A national residential tourism platform covering more than 3,000 residential bases across China.

To break cross-border tourism barriers, Guizhou Tourism Group has launched the official international tourism portal www.Guizhoutravel.com, supporting four languages (Chinese, English, Korean and Thai) with intelligent Q&A, cross-border payment and multi-currency booking functions. It serves as a one-stop travel hub for global visitors to Guizhou. Meanwhile, the group has launched the premium service standard Green Elegance Smart Tour & Scenic Drive Experience, equipped with more than 300 vehicles to provide high-end customized small car & mini group tours with driver-cum-tour guides.

Customized tourism products are developed for major overseas markets:

1. South Korea Market: Focus on mountain scenery and cultural resonance. Core products include pilgrimage tours to Fanjingshan Mountain, leisurely tours of Wanfenglin, and in-depth intangible heritage experiences such as Miao batik, embroidery and silver ornament making, as well as immersive Miao and Dong ethnic culture activities.

2. Southeast Asian Markets (Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc.): Highlight cool climate wellness and authentic sour soup cuisine. Leveraging Guizhou’s average temperature of 23℃ in summer, the group has developed exclusive summer retreat products, combining pleasant weather and local delicacies to create popular wellness travel experiences.

3. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Regions: Promote weekend short getaways and high-speed rail travel. Benefiting from the 4-hour high-speed rail accessibility, itineraries centered on Guiyang connect core scenic spots with well-paced arrangements, enabling tourists from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to enjoy flexible weekend trips and high-quality slow travel experiences.

"We do not pursue large-scale general sightseeing tours, but tailor delicate themed travel products for every visitor. We strive to turn the ideal travel of 'poetry and distant lands' into tangible experiences, making every tourist reluctant to leave once they arrive," said Yang Kun.
