"Show Your Pride to the World – 2026 Gaokao Graduation Season" Campaign Launches at Zhijin Cave

June 16 – Zhijin Cave, a World Geopark and national 5A-level tourist attraction, has officially launched the themed campaign Show Your Pride to the World – 2026 Gaokao Graduation Season. Guizhou’s current Gaokao graduates can enjoy free admission for themselves and one immediate family member. The campaign also features exclusive offline coming-of-age ceremonies and online interactive gift activities, creating memorable graduation travel experiences for local graduates.

Known as the King of Chinese Caves, Zhijin Cave offers free admission to all national current Gaokao graduates with their admission tickets throughout the summer vacation (June 10 to August 31). For Guizhou graduates, the policy is further extended: each eligible graduate and one immediate family member (parent, sibling) can enter the scenic area free of charge.

Visitors shall present their Gaokao admission ticket and household registration certificate for verification at the on-site service counter to explore this magnificent underground wonderland.

With a constant temperature of 16℃, the cave provides a comfortable retreat for graduates to unwind after intense exam preparation. Visitors can admire iconic landscapes such as the Silver Rain Tree (a national geological treasure) and the Overlord Helmet (formed over 350,000 years), and marvel at nature’s extraordinary craftsmanship.

The campaign aims to help young generations of Guizhou appreciate the world-class geological wonders of Zhijin Cave, foster love for their hometown and cultural confidence, and encourage them to promote Guizhou’s tourism brands to the world.

Beyond free admission, a grand exclusive coming-of-age ceremony is carefully arranged. A Stone & Time Corridor (representing the ages from 0 to 18) is built on the outdoor square. Graduates walk through the corridor to reflect on their growth from childhood to adulthood. A wish wall at the end of the corridor allows them to write down thoughts and freeze precious youth memories. The venue also offers time-delayed postcard services, where graduates can write messages to their future selves four years from now when they enter university.

To expand the campaign’s influence and showcase the geological, ecological and tourism value of Zhijin Cave, integrated online and offline activities are launched to encourage all Guizhou residents to promote local tourism.
