Program Introduction

Wumeng Grassland, located in Hezhang County of Bijie City, lies among the Wumeng Mountains and is one of the high-elevation, large-scale natural grasslands in Southwest China. Here you'll find typical alpine meadow scenery, with rolling hilly grassland stretching far and wide, earning it the name "Grassland in the Clouds". In this vast green ocean, you can experience unique terrains like the Wobbly Road and Wave Road. Stay overnight at a local inn and savor authentic local delicacies. On the second day, hike across the grassland to viewing platform, overlook the scenery below from the heights, and experience the unique charm of Guizhou's alpine grassland.

    Search for "Wumeng Grassland" on your navigation app. Take the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway from Guiyang, which will take about 4 hours to drive.

    Take a train from Guiyang North Station to Panzhou Station, then a taxi to the scenic area.

Highland weather changes rapidly. If fog or rain occurs during the trip, add extra layers immediately to prevent hypothermia.

Soft side light in the afternoon is the golden hour for shooting windmills, grasslands, and human silhouettes. Use a wide-angle lens to capture the vast expanse of the grassland, and a telephoto lens to compress space and highlight the rhythm of windmill clusters.
