Travel Guide

  • Carry-on items
    DSLR camera or drone, at least 1.5L of drinking water, and high-energy snacks (e.g., chocolate)

    Non-slip hiking shoes, long sleeves and pants, a windproof and waterproof jacket, and trekking poles
    Protective gear
    Sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, a foldable umbrella/disposable raincoat for the rainy season, and a basic first-aid kit

    Search for "Bulang Village" on the navigation app. Depart from Guiyang via Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, with a total distance of 120 km and a driving time of about 2 hours.
    Public transportation
    Take a high-speed train from Guiyang North Station to Anshun West Station, then a taxi to the scenic area.

Safety tips

Elevation along parts of the route ranges from 493 meters to 1720 meters. Visitors at risk of mild altitude sickness are advised to inform the guide immediately and stop walking if feeling unwell.

The Mama Cliff Murals are a provincial-level cultural relic protection site. Do not touch or damage them. A wide-angle lens is recommended for capturing the full murals as a souvenir.
