City Overview
Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southeastern part of Guizhou Province. As the most concentrated area of Miao and Dong ethnic groups in China, it is renowned as the "Land of Festivals" and an "Ethnic Cultural and Ecological Museum". Preserving a complete cultural system of the Miao and Dong ethnic groups, it is home to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the world's largest Miao-inhabited village, and Zhaoxing Dong Village, renowned for its clusters of drum towers. The beautiful Wuyang River, magnificent Yuntai Mountain, and the picturesque Jiabang Terraced Field together form a natural landscape painting. The rich ethnic heritage blends harmoniously with stunning landscapes, making this region an ideal destination for experiencing authentic cultural traditions and natural beauty.
