Introduction

Located in Leishan County, Qiandongnan Prefecture of Guizhou Province, the village has a total of 1,468 households with over 6,000 residents. Among them, 99.5% are indigenous Miao people. Spanning 5.5 square kilometers, it is reputed as the largest Miao-inhabited village in China and even the world, and has earned accolades like "open-air museum of Miao culture" and "China's most beautiful Miao village." The Baishui River flows through the village, dividing Xijiang Miao Village into two parts.
