Dalaxian Valley

Scenic Area Introduction

The term “Dala” originates from the local Buyi language, meaning “unity and mutual assistance,” embodying the warm and simple neighborly affection of this land. This national AAAA-level tourist attraction in Panzhou City masterfully blends magnificent karst peaks with tranquil pastoral scenery, making it an ideal destination to experience Guizhou's mountain resort charm and ecological agriculture.

At the heart of the park lies a vibrant ecological tableau. Over 300 acres of multicolored flower fields spread across the hillsides, forming a unique circular landscape. From late spring to deep autumn, lavender, cosmos, and other blooms compete in splendor, resembling a giant natural palette. The crystal-clear Dalaxian Lake adorns this scene, its waters reflecting the mountain scenery and sea of flowers in tranquil beauty. This place is not only a picturesque landscape of mountains, rivers, and fields but also a summer retreat paradise, with average summer temperatures around 19°C, offering a cool and pleasant environment. Many visitors choose extended stays at lakeside RV campgrounds or unique homestays, embracing a “migratory traveler” lifestyle while immersing themselves in pastoral idylls reminiscent of “picking chrysanthemums beneath the eastern fence.”

Visitors can stroll through the wetland park, capturing photos amidst the flower fields, or venture into the picking gardens to harvest seasonal strawberries or fruits by hand. For those seeking tranquility and a deep connection with nature and culture, Dala Valley offers a vivid window into the vitality and aesthetics of rural Southwest China.
