Scenic Area Overview
The China Sky Eye Scenic Area (also known as the China Sky Eye Science Education Base) is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction located in Hanglong•Future International Astronomy Town in Pingtang County, Guizhou Province. Built around the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST), it covers the core area of the "quiet" electromagnetic environment that exists within a 3-mile (5 kilometers) radius around the telescope. The China Sky Eye Scenic Area consists of two main parts: the FAST and the Pingtang Astronomy Science and Culture Park, including attractions such as the FAST Observation Deck, International Astronomy Experience Hall, Astronomy Time and Space Tower, Gate of Time, Tianmu Commercial Street, Nan Rendong Memorial Hall, and the Dome Flight Cinema.

Visit the FAST Observation Deck
Experience this "national technological marvel" up close and feel its overwhelming magnificence. All electronic devices must be stored before entry. You can either hike up 789 steps or take a paid shuttle ride to the top.
