Scenic Area Overview
Wujiang Village, a traditional settlement cluster hidden deep in the tributary canyon of Wujiang River in Zunyi, is acclaimed as "a well-preserved representative of mountain villages along the Wujiang River Basin". The stilted buildings cling to mountainsides and face waters, scattered in graceful order, preserving the features of northern Guizhou dwellings and the original texture of the village, like an exquisite scroll painting of nature and humanity. Morning mist blankets the river, evening lights reflect in the water, and villagers keep the age-old way of life—farming, weaving, fishing, and hunting.
