Scenic Area Overview

Daxiaojing Natural Scenic Area, located northeast of Luodian County in Guizhou Province, is a provincial-level scenic spot and a provincial-level forest park. It comprises two sections, Daxiaojing and Dadai River, with the core scenic area spanning 4.58 square kilometers. Enjoying a subtropical humid monsoon climate with an annual average temperature of 19.5°C, the scenic area is known as a "Natural Greenhouse" and "Little Sanya of Guizhou". The scenic area is centered on geological attractions, including karst cave clusters, sinkholes, and underground rivers, featuring over 90 caves such as Xiangshui Cave and Moon Cave, as well as the Pogong Stone Forest. It is blanketed by southern subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests. After an expedition by Chinese and French experts in 1985, it was hailed as the "Oriental Cave Museum".
