Libo Xiaoqikong

An "Emerald" Scattered on Earth!

Introduction

Home to the largest karst forest in the world, this national 5A-level scenic area is Guizhou's first World Natural Heritage site. With a forest coverage of over 90%, it is revered as the "Emerald on Earth's Belt." Integrating caves, forests, lakes, and waterfalls into a harmonious panorama, it is exquisitely beautiful and known as a "Super Bonsai." National Geographic has praised it as "the most beautiful place in China," while Lonely Planet has listed it as one of the world's most soul-stirring landscapes. If it weren't for heaven's favor, how could such a beautiful place exist on Earth? Its myriad charms cannot be captured in mere words - one must experience it in person to truly appreciate them.
1 / 3
  • Wolong Pool
The serene and deep water of the pool transforms into cascading crystal-clear curtains as it gently flows over the dam. This creates a striking contrast between the stillness of the valley and the movement of the river, as if time has frozen at this moment.
  • Yuanyang Lake
Lush trees grow right in the lake. As you paddle a boat through the lake, you can see straight to the bottom through crystal-clear water; yet from afar, the verdant hues of the lake are truly breathtaking.
  • Cuigu Waterfall
From a distance, it looks like a jade ribbon hanging between mountains. Up close, the water cascades down the mountainside, with splashing waves and misty spray, resembling a flock of dragons descending the mountain—refreshing and delightful to the eye.
  • Forest on Rocks
This primeval forest grows right on the rocks. Tree roots stretch into crevices, splitting the rocks to form "rock-embraced trees"; or they climb over the rocks to find suitable places to grow, creating "tree-embraced rocks".
  • 68-Level Cascading Waterfall
In a 1.6-kilometer canyon, waterfalls of myriad forms vie for attention with their beauty and splendor, creating a dynamic water landscape that dazzles the eyes.
  • Laya Waterfall
With a width of 10 meters and a drop of 30 meters, the waterfall surges down like a collapsing mountain, roaring like thunder—a truly magnificent spectacle.
  • Xiaoqikong Stone Bridge
Overgrown with vines on both sides, the bridge spans crystal-clear water. The lush, verdant scenery on both banks is surrounded by a fairy-like mist. Stroll across this ancient bridge and take in the view, as if you were admiring a beautiful landscape painting.
