The name “Liu Yishou” (meaning “Holding Back a Trick”) grew from a simple belief—“grill one fish perfectly”—into a beloved local institution and must-visit spot for tourists.

Here, carefully selected live fish from the Wujiang River are marinated in a secret recipe and grilled over charcoal until the skin is crispy and fragrant, while the flesh remains tender and smooth.
