Qianchun Interchange
Guiyang's 8D Magical Infrastructure Landmark.
Introduction
The Qianchun Interchange is in Yunyan District, Guiyang. It is on Beijing West Road. The interchange is the core hub of Guiyang's Middle Ring Road. It has five levels, is 5,270 meters long, and has 11 intersecting ramps and eight omnidirectional exits. This makes it the most complex interchange in Guizhou.
Its highest point drops 55 meters, which is about the same as an 18-story building. The smallest circle it can turn is 25 meters. Construction crews finished building overpasses every day in just 110 minutes. This made it a standard for building interchanges in mountainous cities in China.
Looking down from a drone, the layered ramps look like three-dimensional writing. The bridge's blue-gray color differs from the green Qianling Mountain, creating an industrial look. After dark, 12,000 LED lights follow its spiral shape, and the moving traffic changes into a golden starry river, beating like the “heartbeat of the city.” Each ramp is full of the energy of the city, and every light beam adds to the warmth of daily life. It takes something complicated and makes it unique, turning engineering into a part of the scenery. It is Guizhou's most vibrant urban landmark, and it is part of the “bridge museum.” It shows how cities in mountains and modern civilization work together. The nearby attractions of Qianling Mountain Park and Wenchang Pavilion are connected by a bridge. Under the bridge, there is a lively sports park with tofu ball stalls, combining modern infrastructure with local food. This makes a great spot for photography enthusiasts to capture the lively spirit of Guiyang.
