Introduction

Spanning the vast Duohua Canyon in Longli County, Qiannan Prefecture, the Longli River Bridge stands as a landmark of bridge-tourism integration within Guizhou's “Bridge Museum”. It is celebrated as the world's first high-altitude canyon landscape cable-stayed bridge and serves as the “Gateway to the Sky” connecting Guiyang to the Longli Grasslands.

Constructed amidst karst topography, the builders overcame geological challenges to create this bridge that seamlessly blends transportation and tourism functions, embodying both technical prowess and aesthetic elegance. Since opening, it has slashed travel time from Guiyang to Longli Grassland from 1.5 hours to just 30 minutes.
